Cape Winelands is not only the most beautiful area in South Africa for residents and visitors alike, but it's also the center of leading businesses operating in key sectors such as agriculture, tourism, the tech industry and education. Here you will find some of the best schools, a world-class university, as well as numerous prime educational institutions.

Winelands Chapter

The Chamber's supports local area with development by providing support for:

1. Enterprise development - increasing awareness of opportunities for learning, development and links to expertise.

2. Networking events - enabling members to connect with new customers, suppliers, experts and decision-makers.

3. Business retention and expansion programmes - for firms to express their concerns about issues affecting business in the area, and to steer systematic improvement of their local business environment.

4. Participation in regional sector and value chain development programmes.

Our Chapter differs from the other Chapters at the Chamber in that they operate in the area of the Cape Town Metro municipality, whereas we operate in the municipal areas primarily of the Stellenbosch Municipality, which covers the precincts of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, and the Drakenstein municipality, which covers Paarl and Wellington.

We believe that all businesses in the different precincts in our areas should stand together and help build a stronger and more sustainable economy and society. In order to do this, we also aim to identify impediments to business success and see where economic growth and job opportunities can be stimulated in cooperation with all the important stakeholders in our area.

We believe this can only happen in an orchestrated and systemic way, working together towards the same goals and objectives.

We call on all businesses in these areas to join the Cape Chamber in uniting and standing together, as we truly believe that a united business organisation can deliver huge benefits to member businesses.

Besides the opportunity to network and develop your business, the Chamber also provides invaluable added services in the fields of training and development, discounts on a range of products and services, and advocacy in order to help facilitate and assist business not only with local authorities, but also on provincial and national government levels.

Please participate and give us your feedback and ideas.
