Did You Know: Cape Coast Chapter - Networking opportunity for your business

The Cape Coast Chapter which stretches from the vibrant town of Atlantis in the north to the bustling industrial hub of Paarden Eiland in the south is a dynamic Chapter that thrives at the crossroads of the Western Cape's economic growth.

Boasting a diverse tapestry of population demographics and economic development levels, from informal to formal sectors, it encompasses formal industrial zones like Montague Gardens, Killarney Gardens, and Racing Park, intertwined with bustling informal business areas in Marconi Beam and Du Noon.

Led by Chair Peter Ross and Vice Chair Trevor Basset, alongside esteemed committee members Anika Nell, Councillor Joy Solomon, Lee-Anne Singer, Lee-Ann Viola, and Sjoske Tuinstra, the Chapter aims to expand its membership and seize economic opportunities through events like the recently held Energy Dialogue and the Business Breakfasts.

Beyond industry, the Chapter encompasses thriving residential neighborhoods such as Milnerton, Bloubergstrand, Table View, Melkbosstrand, and the burgeoning developments of Parklands, Sunningdale, and Burgundy Estate, along with welcoming communities in Edgemead and Bothasig.

It is also home to the prestigious Century City development, including Canal Walk Shopping Centre, one of Cape Town's largest, and it collaborates closely with local member associations representing expansive formalized industrial and commercial parks, empowering catalytic development.

Beyond commerce, it unveils tourism gems steeped in history, culture, and thrilling sporting events, from the historic Battle of Blaauwberg to the adrenaline-pumping Red Bull King of the Air Kitesurfing competition.

The Chapter is currently in plans with its Safety and Security Roadshow and the Kite surfing event, and if you're eager to be part of this vibrant journey, contact our Chapter Secretariat Chantal at chantal@capechamber.co.za
