Cape Town entrepreneur turned her side job into full-time success

Ultimately Blinds is a renowned family-owned business that specializes in premium window treatments and has established itself as the go-to experts in indoor and outdoor blinds.

Founder Veronique Cronjé shares how this journey initially started as a side job but later in 2016, she took over the business from her husband and turned it into her full-time profession.

Ultimate Blinds offers a comprehensive range of window treatment solutions, including indoor and outdoor blinds, patio screens and security shutters, explained Veronique.

"My husband and I initially started the business as a sideline, but it quickly grew into something much bigger than we expected," said Veronique.

"We take pride in being a one-stop shop for all window treatment needs, and we provide a unique service of cleaning blinds for our customers," she said.

Veronique is currently participating in the Global Export Accelerator Programme (GEAP) which is aimed to stimulate job creation and income generation by building the capacities of local, Black-owned enterprises to export their products or services.

Furthermore, she added that Ultimately Blinds is a family-run enterprise that allows them to provide exceptional personal service to their clients. The team comprises a skilled and dedicated workforce that enables them to handle any installation project with utmost precision.

"Being relatively small, we are able to offer individualized attention and build strong relationships with our customers," she said.
