Cape Chamber Celebrates Innovation: Meet the Winners of the Inaugural Academic Innovation Awards
The Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry held it's inaugural Academic Innovation Awards last Thursday alongside Cape Higher Education Consortium (CHEC) hosted by MTN.
The event celebrated groundbreaking innovations that have contributed to economic growth in the Western Cape.
Serving as a precursor to the Chamber's Industry Awards on June 10, the Academic Innovation Awards set the stage for the upcoming event, where awardees will be recognised based on criteria such as: Market acceptance, Peer Recognition, Novelty of Innovation, Scale of Industry Impact.
Meanwhile, CHEC CEO, Prof. Eugene Cloete, presented the Academic Innovation awards, with the following winners announced:
