The objective of Excel Part 2 is to enable delegates to become comfortable with formulas that are typically used to increase efficiency in a financial environment.
• Building formulas
o Exploring available libraries of formulae within Excel.
o Cell referencing within formulas i.e. relative and absolute references.
o Mathematical operators within Excel.
o Duplicating (dragging) formulas without retyping.
• Reviewing formulas
• Flash fill (Excel 2013 and later only)
• Financial formulas i.e. SUM, SUBTOTAL, MAX, MIN, PMT, IPMT, NPV, IRR, FV and PV.
