Stephen Covey’s “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” gives many guidelines to follow in order to live an effective life – one of personal and public effectiveness and meaning. In this workshop these seven principles will be unpacked and applied with practical exercises to support behaviour change.

• Introduction – paradigms & habits
• Habit 1: “Be Pro-Active”- choosing your response and expanding your “Circle of Influence”
• Habit 2: “Begin with the End in Mind” – knowing my goals and letting them guide my actions
• Habit 3: “First Things First” – prioritising my actions according to my goals
• Habit 4: “Think Win-Win” – an effective leadership paradigm that empowers you and others
• Habit 5: “Seek First to Understand, then to Be Understood” – the power of empathic listening
• Habit 6: “Synergise” – finding and using synergies that unleash the powers within people
• Habit 7: “Sharpen The Saw” – the principles of balanced self-renewal
