YouTube is the second largest search engine on the internet. It is owned by the number one search engine, Google. Used strategically, YouTube can help boost exposure of your brand and/or service. In this course, you will learn how to bring an idea to life, how to brand your videos, upload videos with good content and create shareable videos.

SoundCloud is an exclusively audio channel that will allow you to upload and share podcasts. Podcasts are an easy way to get your message and brand out to the public. There are no setup costs – all you need are cell phone earphones that have a built-in mic.

Both these platforms will help establish yourself as an industry expert. If you like blogging, you will love these multimedia channels.

Speaker profile:
Afsana Khan, Endor By Design, holds a B.A in Film and Media Production from UCT. She has been working for a number of years in advertising, adopting various skills in web and graphic design, online marketing, artist and event management.  She currently heads Endor by Design (Pty) LTD, a brand development agency. Their services include branding (web and graphic design), marketing and social media training. Passionate about education, Afsana lectures senior production students at UCT and 2ko International.  She is part of the Cape Communicators’ Advanced Toastmasters club; a public speaking and leadership  programme, which she serves on the executive committee and on the council.  Afsana was part of the 3rd Young Entrepreneurship Program in 2012.
