The Mitchells Plain Network Opposing Abuse has been working in the Mitchells Plain community for close to 20 years.

The mission of the Mitchells Plain Network Opposing abuse is to empower survivors of violent crimes with coping skills.

This is a presentation will highlight the following:
– Community Education Workshop
– Human Trafficking
– Family & Community Violence
– Child Abuse and neglect
– Substance abuse
– Court support/counselling
– Grief, Loss and Bereavement therapy
– School projects

Speaker profile:
Mareldea Sonday is the Operations Manager at the Mitchells Plain Network Network Opposing Abuse since 1998.
She studied Social Re-construction and Development at the University of Cape Town.
