Entrepreneurial mind-set refers to a specific state of mind which orientates human conduct towards entrepreneurial activities and outcomes. Individuals with entrepreneurial mind-sets are often drawn to opportunities, innovation and new value creation.

This workshop will introduce you to the concept of the entrepreneurial mind-set. Discover how to develop your entrepreneurial mind-set, create opportunities and turn your ideas into action.

Target Market:
Informal and Formal traders; Community Entrepreneurs, Existing SMME’s; Emerging SMME’s and Unemployed Youth.

Presenter profile: 
Abe Oliver is the Program Manager at the Rapid Incubator and Centre for Entrepreneurship at False Bay TVET College.  He is an experienced and professional SME practitioner both in the art and science of entrepreneurship field.  Abe has more than 20 years experience in academia and SMME business modelling support.

He completed his Masters Degree in Development Studies at UWC.  His Thesis focused on Social Entrepreneurship and Service Learning approach to developing community small businesses.  He has a B. Econ (Hons) and Higher Diploma in Education from UWC.  Abe is also an accredited Assessor with the Wholesale and Retail Sector Education Training Authority (W & R Seta) and a certified Growth Wheel Advisor.
