The Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences, more commonly known as AARTO is a set of laws and regulations tabled by the Road Traffic Infringement Agency aimed at improving road safety by implementing stringent protocols to hold motorists accountable for traffic violations.

The Chamber’s Transport and Transport Infrastructure Portfolio Committee will be hosting a meeting with Mr Pat Curran, Deputy Director – Traffic Law Enforcement, Western Cape Department of Transport and Public Works.

The meeting will discuss the implementation of AARTO and you will be able to find out more on:

  • New road laws
  • Traffic fines and licenses
  • Drivers demerit points
  • Delivery of traffic fines and notices
We welcome the attendance and engagement of business, the transport sector and all stakeholders.
